I’m Pachi, the creative mind and hands behind Artsy— as we friends call it.
I was born and raised in Argentina but I recently emigrated to Valencia, Spain. Here is where I officially begin my 100% dedication to the artistic world.
My life has always been intertwined with art and visual aesthetics; it’s just the natural way I see things, but I haven’t always walked down this path.
I’ve often been labeled a rebel. If being true to my own desires and seeking to do things that truly represent me is rebellion, then I’ll gladly be a rebel.
I grew up in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires in an environment where undergraduate academic training was almost an obligation, so I initiated that path without much hesitation. I made a solid career in Human Resources, mainly in multinational companies, reaching leadership positions—which I knew from the beginning I wasn't interested in pursuing.
In 2017, in crisis with a life I hadn’t really chosen for myself, I felt a strong urge to reconnect with my artistic and creative side. I studied and became a professional makeup artist and hairstylist, later complementing my knowledge with studies in cosmetology and cosmiatry.
For years, I worked in HR during the week days and as a bridal and event hair&makeup artist on the weekends. I even became part of the freelance makeup team for Dior Argentina.
That mix of jobs and few, if any, breaks—combined with the pandemic of 2020—pulled me away from the makeup world. But there was still a creative voice within me that wouldn’t stop insisting and pulling me.
After much therapy, changing office jobs, deciding to emigrate with my boyfriend and our cat, and later experiencing a marked and abrupt anxiety crisis, I decided the best thing for me was to listen to that inner voice and just follow it.
Once in Spain, I rolled up my sleeves and started this beautiful project that makes me very happy and gives me the peace I need.
Nothing is ever easy, but I’m a person who cannot settle for “what she got.” I’ve always tried to forge my path beyond what was expected of me, and here I am once again following my desires, because dreams require work. And lots of it.
I hope I can keep on working on this one, see it grow and evolve :)
